Hikayat Sang Kancil (Legend of The Mousedeer)
The exhibition is based on one of the first animated films produced in the early 80's and the aim is to start a discussion or conversation about narratives that is moralistic ones through the representation of animals from ancient till present that we can refer for example The Town Mouse and Country Mouse, The Hare and The Tortoise, Journey to the West, The Jungle Book, Metamorphosis, Animal Farm, Legend of the Mousedeer and many more that still, in a prevalent manner, use representation of animals as a moral medium.

The Hunters
The Hunters is inspired from a Chinese proverb that tells about an emperor who conquers many neighboring countries without realizing his own country is in great danger. However, one day in the garden he saw how a sparrow waited for the unaware praying mantis to pounce a unsuspecting cricket before it eats both of them.  The insight gives the emperor invaluable warning not to be arrogant, self-satisfied but  to be alert and to see the bigger picture. The proverb is an advice to one who lacks perspective and focus only on plans to rip off others while at the same time forgets there will be someone else plotting against him too.
